@Manga: Siege has points that the Defenders control at the start of the game, and must stop the Attackers from capturing. (In the one's I've played) once the Attackers capture a point, it is permanently theirs. In King of the Hill, there is one point that is neutral at the start and both (assuming you only have two teams) compete to control it. The "hill" can be captured from the other team, not just from it's nuetral state. I'm not sure how this variation of KOTH works exactly, but there are three main types in terms of how to win: 1) One team must fully capture the "hill". On 100% capture, the game is over. 2) One team must capture and hold the hill. Capture time is usually shorter, but on capture, the "hill" must be protected for a specified amount of time. 3) One team must hold the hill. Similar to 2, but without the need to capture the "hill". However, this type generally requires the "hill" to be occupied by one team ONLY (in the other two, this maybe true as well, or the controling team my be the one with the most players on the "hill". Capturing usually takes longer when there are more enemies on the hill.). |
